I really wish they had stayed true to the characters and actually let Anne Rice pick who she wanted. I have nothing against any of the actors, but they were NOT right for those roles. It pisses me off.

Twilights an insult to vampire movies. Classic vampire movies are the best. Twilight is classified as “Dark romance” Dark romance meaning its gonna be a pile of shit. This would be a thriller or horror movie. Well aparently its a horror movie but i just found it entertaining.

This is a good one. If youre thinking all twilighty crap then no this isnt the same thing. This is a great movie. No love, no emos and no “it hurts to be a vampire :,(” shit. A lot of people highly recommend this movie.
Is it true they are remaking this? Everyone seems so happy about it, but this is a classic! This is a movie that captured Lestat so perfectly, not to mention it’s one of the few movies where Tom Cruise is an amazing actor lol. I don’t care if they throw out movies from book 2 and up, but don’t touch this one!!

this is one of my all time favorite vampire films…..but people always say the books are much better….and in this case its true although i love this movie its alot diffrent from the book…and queen of the damned what the hell was that….and i dont mean that because i didn’t like it….it was ok if you didn’t know what the story was in the first place……that was a mess………i recommend all the books to everyone there great.

I would defenitely recomend this. I first saw it a few years ago. Now I have my own copy and watch it at least once every 2-3 months.
It’s my favorite film of all time.
It’s worth a watch for anyone interested in vampires.
Anyone studying vampire fiction (yes they have courses on it. Odd I know) knows about it. It’s a core part of any lecture on the subject.
(I can neverget over the fact they teach courses on it. XD )
Anyway, point is, it’s probably the best vampire film to date. ^_^
Lestat is extroadanarily powerful. It’s just a difference in abilities.
