The Vampire Lovers was probably the sexiest of all the Hammer horror films, laden as it was with lesbian scenes. Any film having a trio of beauties such as Ingrid Pitt, Kate O’Mara & Madeleine Smith has to be worth watching. If supersexy Ingrid Pitt tried to bite my neck & turn me into her zombie, i would make no attempt to stop her!.
CALLING ALL HORROR FANS ! I am desperate to see one of the best Werewolf movies ever made.. The Curse Of The Werewolf (1961) I have looked all over for it and had no luck at all & for some odd reason it is not posted on youtube ? I wonder if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated .
If you’ve read the book Carmilla, this movie really doesn’t do the novel any justice. I can only hope that someone will create a film that is worthy of the book. While The Vampire Lovers may be a great movie, it’s a horrible adaption of an amazing novel that was many years ahead of its time.

It was only released on dvd in the usa. Ther’re is a guy i finland who used to sell the collection it was released on.

But, sadly, this is one of the closest adaptations… Along with “Let’s Scare Jessica to Death.”
